Gold prices have fallen!
Spot gold prices fell 0.2% to $4,345.55 per ounce.

Gold prices fell on Wednesday as investors assessed expectations that major central banks could keep interest rates at elevated levels for longer in an effort to curb persistent inflation. Spot gold prices fell 0.2% to $4,345.55 per ounce. The price of U.S. gold futures for December delivery rose 0.2% to $4,383.10. The dollar remaining near a two-month high also put pressure on gold prices. A stronger dollar makes gold more expensive for investors using other currencies.
Analysts say oil prices and geopolitical developments in the Middle East are key factors influencing gold’s short-term movements. At the same time, high geopolitical risks and continued gold purchases by central banks remain supportive factors for prices. BMI analysts kept their 2026 average gold price forecast unchanged at $4,400 per ounce. Among other precious metals, spot silver fell 0.6%, platinum declined 1%, and palladium decreased 0.5%.
