Meta has unveiled the camera-free smart glasses model Ray-Ban Meta Audio at the Meta Connect 2026 event. The new model differs from previous smart glasses by not having a camera. The company says this approach could help reduce users’ privacy concerns. Developed in collaboration with EssilorLuxottica, the glasses weigh 43 grams. The model features adjustable temple tips and replaceable nose pads. Ray-Ban Meta Audio will be available in 23 color and lens combinations, as well as with prescription lenses.
The glasses allow users to listen to music and podcasts, make phone calls and use voice translation. The battery lasts up to 12 hours on a single charge, while the carrying case extends the total usage time to 48 hours.
The model also features Meta’s artificial intelligence assistant, Muse. Users will be able to interact with Muse using their voice. The Ray-Ban Meta Audio is priced at $349.
