Azerbaijan ranks first among OTS countries in imports of Turkish goods
Türkiye's trade turnover with the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) has reached $72.2 billion over the past five years.
According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), between 2021 and 2025 Türkiye exported $41.6 billion worth of products to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Imports from these countries into Türkiye totaled $30.6 billion.
Azerbaijan is the top export market
According to the statistics, Azerbaijan was the largest buyer of Turkish products during this period. Türkiye's exports to Azerbaijan reached $13.7 billion. Kazakhstan is in second place with $9.9 billion, followed by Kyrgyzstan with $5.6 billion.
Kazakhstan leads in imports
Kazakhstan also leads in Türkiye's imports from OTS countries, with $16.7 billion worth of goods supplied to Türkiye. It is followed by Uzbekistan ($6.9 billion) and Azerbaijan ($6.2 billion).
2026 figures
In the first nine months of this year, Türkiye's exports to OTS countries amounted to $4.8 billion.
