TEKNOFEST Strengthens Its Position as an International Brand: Applications from 97 Countries, Finalists from About 50.

The head of the T3 Foundation spoke about the event's growing global prestige at TEKNOFEST Southeast, held in Şanlıurfa.

The Aviation, Space and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Turkish Technology Team (T3) Foundation, is welcoming guests at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport. Anadolu Agency (AA) is the event's "Global Communications Partner."

In a statement to AA, Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the T3 Foundation, said that all stakeholders are pleased with the great interest shown in TEKNOFEST Southeast in Şanlıurfa. He stressed that the number of citizens and participants at the events grows rapidly every year.

Hıdır said that TEKNOFEST is moving rapidly toward becoming an international brand:

"Most of our competitions are open to international participation. This year, we received applications from 97 different countries for our technology competitions, and we had finalists from about 50 countries. In the rocket competition, our team from Sarajevo took first place in the international category."

He added that participants from various regions, from India to America and from Azerbaijan to Kosovo, take part in the competitions, which is a source of pride for the organizers.

Hıdır said that the Foundation is also seeking to reach out to friendly and brotherly regions. In this context, protocols on technology cooperation have been signed with Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.

Expressing the wish that the technological revival that began in Türkiye will spread across the whole world, Hıdır continued:

"We are trying to spread this revolution of self-confidence that we are experiencing in Türkiye, and the active participation of young people in technology development, to friendly and brotherly regions as well. We also plan to carry out initiatives such as organizing some of our competitions, like TEKNOFEST, in those regions."

The British and Japanese ambassadors were also received at TEKNOFEST Southeast.

At the end of his remarks, Hıdır stressed that they place great hope in young people:

"We believe that the young people who will save the world from its state of darkness will come from the TEKNOFEST generation. As the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, we will continue our efforts to raise and support young people who will do work serving this goal, not only in our country but also in friendly and brotherly regions, and who will embrace the world with kindness."
