Internet prices are increasing in Azerbaijan!
Fixed internet plans with a monthly fee of 18 manats or less are expected to be switched to a unified minimum tariff of 25 manats.

Starting October 1, fixed internet tariffs in Azerbaijan will be changed. Fixed internet plans with a monthly fee of 18 manats or less are expected to be switched to a unified minimum tariff of 25 manats.
The change will apply only to fixed broadband internet services. It will not affect mobile communications or mobile internet package tariffs. The main objectives of the new tariff policy include standardizing internet tariffs and accelerating the development of telecommunications infrastructure.
The change could affect the monthly expenses of thousands of subscribers currently using fixed internet services at lower rates. For example, if a subscriber paying 18 manats sees their monthly fee increase to 25 manats, their cost will rise by 7 manats, or approximately 39%.
At the same time, operators are expected to offer higher internet speeds and additional services under new packages. Some alternative providers currently offer fiber-optic and ADSL packages for 18 manats or less. These packages may also be revised following the introduction of the new tariffs.
