The US-Ukraine Fund Invests in Ukraine’s Energy Sector!
The main goal of the investments is to strengthen Ukraine’s energy system, increase the production of critical minerals, and make key supply chains more secure.

The US Department of the Treasury has announced that the US-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund has approved new investments in Ukraine’s energy and critical minerals sectors. The main goals of the investments are to strengthen Ukraine’s energy system, increase critical mineral production and make key supply chains more secure. The fund will establish a new investment platform together with Ukraine’s BGV Group Management. The platform will invest in early-stage mining projects. Initially, it will focus on deposits of rare earth elements, uranium, beryllium and zirconium. The projects are expected to create new jobs and open up investment opportunities for US and international investors.
The fund will also support the restoration of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. New energy centers are planned to help restore electricity and heating systems damaged by the war. In addition, the fund is financing battery energy storage systems built by DTEK in 6 regions of Ukraine. These systems can store enough electricity to cover the consumption of approximately 600,000 households for 2 hours. The US and Ukraine launched the fund a year ago. Its first investment was made in Sine Engineering in March this year.
