According to TASS, citing the Moscow Exchange, as of 09:00 Moscow time at the opening of the session, the MOEX index rose 0.01% to 2,280.06 points, while the RTS index reached 862.83 points. The yuan rose by 2.05 kopecks to 12.434 rubles.
However, in the following minutes the indices fell. By 09:30, the MOEX index had dropped 0.18% to 2,275.67 points, and the RTS index had also declined 0.18% to 861.17 points. At the same time, the yuan rose by 1.55 kopecks to 12.429 rubles.
