The Value of Russia’s Energy Exports to Europe Has Been Revealed

According to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandr Novak, Russia has exported energy resources worth a total of $320.7 billion to the European Union since 2022. He said this figure exceeds the $250 billion previously reported by the United States.

In an interview with Russia’s state television channel Vesti, Novak noted that energy supplies to Europe have continued through certain channels despite sanctions. According to him, energy resources worth $21.3 billion were shipped to Europe during the first 9 months of 2026. The Russian side stated that it continues to fulfill its contractual obligations and that the structure of its energy exports to Europe has changed significantly in recent years.

Novak also announced that negotiations had begun between Russia and the United States regarding diesel fuel supplies. The issue is reportedly being discussed at the level of the energy ministries and relevant companies of both countries.

According to Novak, Russia has the capacity to increase its monthly diesel fuel exports to 3.5 million tons by the end of the year. He noted that additional supplies could contribute to balancing supply and demand in the global energy market. He attributed rising oil prices mainly to increased transportation costs and a shortage of transport vehicles.
